Happy New Year to you! May I kindly ask you to share some of your mix sets or artists thoughts with the SSR community so that all of us finally understand what the “shits” is? Obviously we do not have any idea about what we are doing and really need your advice; especially when it comes to house styles from Chicago. We really do need your help… now…

i seem to be having trouble listening to the pop up players on different generes it will play the ssradio intro but then keeps buffering every second or so, it has only been like this on the listen live side since the site upgrade, is this a normal anomily or am i doing some thing wrong ? any advice is welcome.

Hey paulr41, I think they are still working on the website so there are bound to be some bugs. Hopefully someone will read your comment and explain what is causing the problem.

Hi paulr42, we are aware of the player bug and are working on a solution. In the meantime it is often resolved by pausing and unpausing the player. Sorry for any inconvenience, we hope to have the problem fixed very soon.

say.. I justt noticed that the stick of the audio occurs at 4 seconds into the mix. This USED to be a problem for SOME of the mixes in 2008 when playing with iTunes (but no problem with WinAMP). Since the problem happened in iTunes OCCASIONALLY, maybe its the way the MIX was digitized by the DJ (maybe they are using some version to record their mixes which has this problem).. JUST A GUESS !!!

I have a similar problem on my website. I have a feeling it has something to do with the buffering but I have not had time to experiment. Perhaps you might me interested in using http://wpaudioplayer.com/

Also I have noticed that the FLV player suffers from a memory leak that crashes the browser when listening live. This usually happens 2 hours of live listening
