Profile: The birth of alias ‘Samuel Bee’ was formed from a development of music loving and the exploration of sub genres within in their own respective genres of house music. Sam entered the music scene around 9 years ago after being a devoted follower of house music from the US. As time progressed the record collection grew until a library of vinyl gave him the opportunity to throw some club sets together. Sam began dj’ing for various venues and promoters in the UK before heading out and working with the best soulful house night in Melbourne, ‘Yum Yum’. On returning back to the UK, Sam and a partner dj launched ‘Gospel: A Testament to House Music’ in London. A sell out initial event resulted in Gospel holding resident club nights for 3 years in London, Swindon and Reading providing a unique style of house music based on soul, jazz, deep and disco elements. Sam has moved with the US house progression and arms himself with the finest collection, selection and mixing of soulful, deep and disco house music now holding several residencies in the South West of the UK. You can also catch Sam in the studio now with production and remixing currently taking place along with ‘The Deep and Soulful Booth’ radio show on SSRadio in London every Saturday 6am – 7am GMT.
