Profile: Doobie J's love for house music began in the mid-90's, DJing notorious neighborhood house party's. In '99 Doobie broke his neck, reliant on a wheelchair he had to hang his headphones up, never expecting to DJ again. Unable to give up his passion for music, he dedicated himself to production, running soulful house label Citrus Sound Records. He's gone on to produce for labels such as Quantize, remixing artists such as Stephanie Cooke, Dawn Tallman and Lisa Millet. Through the innovation of mp3 mixers, Doobie J returned to the decks, having hosted the Citrus Sound Show for over 15 years, he now brings his unique style of soulful and deep house to SSRadio.
