Profile: Baked Soul is a Manchester-based music lifestyle and club brand founded by DJs Nate Brice and Chris DC. Baked Soul confidently and consistently delivers glamorous nights of mouth-watering, delicious, sexy and soulful house music, executed to extreme precision. Joining the UK's leading house music station SSRADIO in late 2007, Baked Soul's fortnightly radio show is frequently featured in the Top 5 most listened to shows across the network. Now, after over 60 episodes, the show continues to be a massive success. Background-- Nate Brice- is an experienced professional DJ, Musician, Producer and Remixer. Starting out early in life and coming from a musical family, Nate was playing piano by the age of 6. Already composing his own music not long after, he knew that this was his life-long ambition. Having achieved Grade 8 on two instruments, he then started to move away from his classical roots and firmly in to the realms of house and soul. In 1999, Nate started the hugely successful disco and soulful house night Motion at Squares in Stockport. This ran weekly for three years until 2002 and had turned a previously quiet Thursday night at the bar in to an incredibly popular, glamorous, bustling place-to-be, bringing a much needed sprinkle of class to the town. Chris DC- is a life-long friend who also shares the same ambitions, passion and devotion to music. Having made frequent joint appearances at house night Motion at Squares, he is an experienced DJ who also confidently and consistently delivers at any event. Now and the Future- After a five-year hiatus while pursuing other careers, Nate and Chris founded Baked Soul in 2007 to go back to their roots and pursue their passion for real house music, fully armed with the knowledge that a large sector of the market has been forgotten. Having had recent phenomenal success with their popular radio show on SSRADIO and various events, it is clear that there is colossal demand for their brand of soulful, sexy, mouth-watering house music, executed in a fashion that is like no other. In 2009, Baked Soul became resident DJs at ANIMA – Manchester’s finest soulful house night at Spektrum (Sankeys)– one of the world’s most respected venues..
