In order to automatically receive each archive of a show via it’s podcast, you need to “subscribe” to it, just as you would subscribe to a magazine to get each issue delivered to you. To subscribe to a podcast you’ll first need to download some podcasting software. We recommend using iTunes, which is available for both PC and Mac and can be downloaded free-of-charge here.

This is how to subscribe to a show’s podcast:

1. Go to the archive page of the show you wish to subscribe to.  You can find the latest show archives on the homepage (‘Recently Archived Shows’), or by visiting the ‘Playlists‘ or ‘Shows‘ pages from the main menu and finding the show that you would like to podcast.
2. Below the show title, there are a list of links.  The third one down is ‘Podcast URL (Subscribe using iTunes)’.  If you use iTunes, clicking the ‘Subscribe using iTunes’ link should launch iTunes (or your default podcasting software) and automatically subscribe you to the podcast. If it doesn’t, try opening your podcasting software first and then drag-and-drop the ‘Podcast URL’ link into it, or manually enter the URL where requested.

Once subscribed, the podcasting software will then regularly check for updates, and automatically download them for you when they become available.
